Osteopathic definition of health and wellness begins wih the recognition that health isn’t something you achieve or even maintain, rather it is an inherent potentcy we are born with that is part of our embryologic ‘fluid midline’ function and cannot be reduced or taken away! As we age we develop parts of ourselves, physically, mentally and emotionally that become separated from our  wholeness.  Through trauma, illness, surgery,  and other life-altering events we lose touch with our core, our midline function becomes contracted, disabled…

Through Osteopathic treatment, midline disturbances are removed and the inherent potency of the core is restored, allowing health to literally flow back into the body…creating a sense of wellness!

What are some other ideas out there about health and wellness?

Does anyone have an experience of both Osteopathy and Chiropractic that might help to explain the difference?

I have heard people with GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) comment that they felt much better after an Osteopathic treatment session, some have even been cured of the disease after a number of sessions.  Does anyone have any direct experience of this they can share?

I have a new website online that brings together my personal research, writings, books, teachings, related information as well as my own practice and how to reach me.  Please come by and send me your comments on the testimonial page.
